General Millwright Laborer

Responsibilities

• Works to gain speed and knowledge of assigned projects
• Performs other duties as assigned by foreman
• Communicate effectively with good verbal and listening skills
• Interact well with and assist others, including coworkers and supervisors
• Be willing to accept assignments, criticism, and new duties and responsibilities
• Respond well to sudden changes, such as working hours fluctuating according to project requirements
• Be punctual and consistent in being on the job
• Be available for and willing to work overtime
• Follow through on assignments to completion
• Perform all duties in a safe and efficient manner, utilizing required safety equipment
• Keep work area neat and orderly
• Report unsafe conditions to supervisors
• Follow established procedures
• Tolerate extreme environmental conditions, with temperatures ranging from -10F to 100+F

Qualifications

A High School diploma with related experience in erecting all-steel buildings is required.
