General Mechanic, Part time - Episcopal Campus
Hours: 20 hrs/week, Thursday–Friday 3:30 p.m.–10:00 p.m. & Saturday 8:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.
About the role
Performs skilled maintenance and repairs and a variety of maintenance and engineering duties for the Facilities Management Department. Assigned to work by the Facilities Management Staff on a regular basis. In addition, this position is called upon to work on projects with other trade mechanics, make rounds, and report discrepancies to the Director of Facilities or any Facilities Management Staff. Assists with work to ensure that work orders and preventative maintenance tasks are corrected in a timely and cost-effective manner. Has a general working knowledge of areas of maintenance and repair. Performs other general maintenance responsibilities not directly related to designated or licensed trade and works independently.
Responsibilities
- Maintains and performs equipment troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and complex repairs on equipment and other facility-related equipment and structures.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
- Trade School in any trade (Preferred)
- 2 years experience in general maintenance or related (Required)
- Driver’s License (Required)
