About the Role

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly, disassembly, modification, repair, rework, retrofit, and upgrade of cables, mechanical, electronic, microelectronic, and high-resolution assemblies/subassemblies using operation instruction sheets, blueprints, process sheets, samples, assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
• Operate jigs, fixtures, soldering irons, hand/power tools, and departmental machines/equipment as required.
• Receive, dispense, and move materials, subassemblies, and assemblies to/from production lines.
• Verify workmanship and product quality standards for specific assembly operations.
• Collect data and maintain records using written or electronic media.
• Handle, store, use, and dispose of hazardous waste chemicals in compliance with safety protocols.
• Lift and/or handle heavy parts, materials, or equipment up to 28 lbs.
• Complete required training courses as assigned.
• Maintain an active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance (must be eligible and obtainable).

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent (G.E.D. in the U.S.).
• U.S. citizenship (required for security clearance eligibility).
• Active and existing DoD Secret security clearance required from day one.

Schedule

1st shift: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
