General Manager - Williamson

Wendy’s of Western Virginia, a locally owned franchise with 14 restaurants, is growing and seeking career-minded, motivated General Managers to lead teams and operations at locations across Roanoke and Lynchburg.

As a General Manager, you will set the tone for a fun, fast-paced, family-friendly environment while managing staff and operations. You’ll build and empower a team focused on increasing profits, providing superior service, and maintaining high standards of quality, service, and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Lead your team to create a restaurant of choice by delivering the best food in a friendly, fast-paced environment.
• Control and monitor store cash, inventory, and equipment to ensure operational success.
• Manage, empower, and assist your team in achieving organizational goals, supporting "Service Excellence" for every customer.
• Set and maintain standards for continuous improvement in quality, service, and cleanliness across all dayparts.
• Perform HR duties, including interviewing and recommending candidates, to maintain proper staffing levels and maximize employee engagement and retention.
• Complete all required administrative duties and provide A+ training for every employee through established systems.
• Ensure all food safety procedures are executed at a high level, in accordance with company and health department standards.

Requirements

• Restaurant or retail experience, with a focus on customer service.
• College degree or 3–4 years of line operations experience in the restaurant industry.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including late nights (most drive-thrus open until midnight).
• Strong customer service, communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods without a break and travel to banks, other restaurants, the Area Office, etc.
• Reliability is a must.
