General Manager - USC Beaufort - South Carolina

About the role

Aramark is seeking a General Manager to lead contracted services for multiple sites, typically generating $2-15M+ in revenue per year. Services can include food service, facility support, custodial services, retail, lodging, transportation, and more.

Job Responsibilities

• Leads a team that provides operational expertise in contracted services while executing management of operations.
• Manages client and community relationships, assesses operations, and develops plans for optimal service and customer satisfaction.
• Builds, develops, and leads a management team and staff to achieve organizational objectives.
• Recommends methods, resources, and implementation for service improvement and growth based on operational needs and contractual obligations.
• Partners with Finance to manage a budget and assist in improving financial performance and operational productivity.
• Maintains compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and codes, and ensures adherence to Aramark's standards of operation, including safety standards and Business Conduct Policy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food Service, Hospitality, Facilities, or Business Management, highly preferred.
• Experience in service industry, contract services, or hospitality environment.
• Proven ability to lead through other managers and craft product sales strategies.
• Experience in creating and managing a department budget, financial controls, and analysis.
• Comfortable with contractual requirements and identifying opportunities within contract terms to address operational issues.
