About The Bradford Rooftop

Located atop New Jersey’s only AC Marriott Hotel, this year-round indoor and outdoor rooftop bar and lounge offers a refined and distinctive setting. Guests can enjoy expertly handcrafted cocktails, locally brewed selections, and thoughtfully curated small plates, all while taking in scenic views of the Watchung Mountain Range. Our space features an outdoor fire pit and accommodates private, fully catered events for groups ranging from 10 to 300 guests. As the only rooftop bar in Bridgewater and the surrounding area, The Bradford provides an elevated experience for both casual gatherings and special occasions.

As the Our General Manager, You’ll:

• Own the Operation: Hold full accountability for the venue's P&L, strategic direction, and overall financial performance, driving revenue growth while managing prime costs.
• Lead and Inspire: Foster a culture of excellence, high energy, and accountability. Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing leadership team (including the AGM and Culinary leaders).
• Champion the Guest Experience: Set and maintain elite service standards for our chic bar and expansive rooftop, ensuring an elevated, world-class experience for every guest.
• Master Hotel Synergy: Partner strategically with the Hotel General Manager and Director of Sales to maximize hotel-guest capture rates, align property-wide initiatives, and ensure a seamless guest journey.
• Drive Revenue & Marketing: Oversee the execution of high-volume social catering events (up to 300 guests) and collaborate with Corporate Marketing/PR to drive innovative promotional events and community partnerships.
• Ensure Flawless Compliance: Oversee all HR functions, legal compliance, health standards, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to protect and enhance the brand.

We’re Looking For Someone Who

• Bridges 3–5+ years of experience as a General Manager in a high-volume, premium restaurant, upscale lounge, or hotel food & beverage operation (ideally $3M+ annual volume).
• Possesses a strong financial acumen with proven success managing P&Ls, budgeting, labor models, and cost controls.
• Has extensive experience with large-scale private events, social catering, and nightlife/lounge marketing.
• Is a master communicator who can build seamless professional relationships with hotel executives, corporate stakeholders, and guests alike.
• Is an entrepreneurial self-starter who thrives under pressure, adapts quickly, and knows how to command a room with an upbeat, engaging personality.
