The General Manager (GM) leads the operation of the Taco John's restaurant in Chanute, KS. This role is responsible for the financial success of the restaurant, managing staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, and adhering to health and safety mandates. The position has a strong hospitality focus, ensuring high-quality food, drink, and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations
• Hire and train a high-performing team
• Manage all front and back-of-house areas
• Ensure consistent food quality
• Manage food and labor cost budgets
• Deliver exceptional customer service
• Maintain restaurant cleanliness, inside and out

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) experience required
• Demonstrated ability to drive customer satisfaction and financial performance
• Proven experience building and leading teams
• Reliability and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Open availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Willingness to work a minimum of 45 hours per week
• Willingness to relocate
• ServSafe certification (or ability to obtain it)
• Minimum 2 years of General Manager experience in QSR
• Strong leadership, accountability, and operational execution skills

Pay

Starting annual pay for a highly qualified QSR General Manager is $48,000 per year, plus a monthly performance-based bonus.
