General Manager (Sur La Table)

About the role

The General Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of store operations, including but not limited to customer service, inventory management, and staff supervision.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient service to customers.
• Manage inventory levels and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Supervise and train staff to meet performance goals and provide exceptional customer service.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and customer loyalty.
• Collaborate with regional management to align store objectives with broader company goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of retail management experience, preferably in a high-end specialty store setting.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Strong understanding of financial management and budgeting.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Pay

$70,000 - $90,000 annually based on experience.

Schedule

Monday through Saturday, with some evening and weekend shifts required.
