General Manager (Store Manager)

The General Manager is responsible for running a profitable restaurant and ensuring it meets McDonald’s critical customer standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness.

About the Role

• Works with leader to set restaurant goals and create a plan to achieve them.
• Leads a team of Department Managers with specific responsibilities in the restaurant.
• Helps Department Managers set their own goals, follows up on progress, and provides coaching and direction to improve their Departments.
• May be responsible for hiring and developing Department and Shift Managers to ensure the restaurant has the right team for the future.

Responsibilities

• Runs a profitable restaurant.
• Ensures the restaurant meets McDonald’s critical customer standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness.
• Works with leader to set restaurant goals and create a plan to achieve them.
• Leads a team of Department Managers with specific responsibilities in the restaurant.
• Helps Department Managers set their own goals, follows up on progress, and provides coaching and direction to improve their Departments.

Requirements

• Previous General Manager experience running high volume locations.
• A background in quick service restaurants or experience in hospitality or retail.
• Must be 18 years or older to be a manager in corporate owned and operated restaurants.
