The Store Leader (General Manager) will work on-site at the car wash, greeting and interacting with customers while leading a team by example. This role involves establishing and maintaining customer service, overseeing location operations, and ensuring maximum sales through world-class customer service and a high-quality experience.

Responsibilities

Hire and retain a great team of smart, kind, and driven people.
Invest time to help each team member achieve their personal and professional goals.
Provide regular feedback regarding performance to improve skills.
Continuously develop leadership skills.
Grow top-line revenue and membership by greeting each guest with enthusiasm and kindness.
Maintain a clean and safe environment for the team and guests.
Learn about the soaps and unique equipment used to deliver a clean, shiny, and dry car.
Collaborate with maintenance experts to maintain soap and equipment.
Work outdoors with the team, teaching, coaching, and inspiring them.
Provide customers with a positive experience worth talking about.
Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures through regular meetings and training.
Handle discipline and termination of team members as needed and in accordance with policy.
Train and develop team members in all aspects of the Quick Quack Car Wash business, such as service, cashiering, and safety.
Oversee productivity, breaks, and daily scheduling of all team members.
Monitor location financials and contribute toward reaching financial goals.
Prepare and handle daily cash deposits.
Order, stock, and maintain merchandise and inventory for the location.
Handle vehicle damage claims with urgency.
Ensure the location is clean and well-maintained; perform or delegate general housekeeping and maintenance.
Assist customers in locating products, resolving complaints, or providing information.
Use a membership approach when interacting with new customers.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Strong leadership and communication skills.
Record of developing team members and leaders.
Self-motivated and results-driven leader.
Record of driving results (revenue, EBITDA, etc.).
Excellent customer service skills.
Experience leading a membership model (preferred).
Experience managing a preventative maintenance program or similar (preferred).
Must be able to read, count, and write accurately.
Must be able to work various hours, weekends, and holidays.
Must maintain a clean appearance as per dress and grooming standards.
2+ years of responsibility for the results of a high-performing store, location, or company.
Experience in hiring, training, and mentoring team members.
Ability to manage costs, expenses, and scheduling.
Ensure product and location meet company standards (brand, cleanliness, product quality).
Familiarity with Profit and Loss Statements.
Retail experience preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
Prolonged periods of standing and working on a cash register or related equipment.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times; occasional lifting of 0-50 lbs.
Must have a valid driver’s license.

Work Environment

The role involves working outside in a loud environment due to car wash equipment. The position requires constant motion and physical activities such as bending, reaching, stooping, and lifting (0-50 lbs.).
