About the role

The Store Leader (General Manager) at Quick Quack Car Wash is responsible for running the day-to-day operations, leading a team, and ensuring maximum sales through exceptional customer service. This role involves managing the entire P&L, hiring and retaining a great team, and fostering a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with customers, setting a positive tone for the car wash experience.
• Oversee the operation of the car wash, ensuring efficient workflow and customer satisfaction.
• Drive top-line revenue and membership growth by creating a welcoming and enthusiastic environment.
• Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures, conducting regular meetings and training sessions.
• Handle discipline and termination of team members, adhering to company policies.
• Train and develop team members in various aspects of the business, including service, cashiering, and safety.
• Monitor and manage the productivity, breaks, and scheduling of all team members.
• Contribute to achieving financial goals by overseeing location financials.
• Prepare and handle daily cash deposits, order and stock merchandise, and maintain inventory.
• Manage vehicle damage claims promptly and ensure the location is clean and well-maintained.
• Direct customers to other departments as necessary and assist with product inquiries.
• Implement a membership approach to attract new customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience developing and leading teams, with a record of driving results.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Experience managing a membership model and a preventative maintenance program.
• Ability to read, count, and write accurately.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Positive attitude and willingness to work outdoors.
• At least 2 years of experience managing a high-performing store, location, or company.
• High school diploma or equivalent, with a college degree preferred.
• Prolonged periods of standing and working on cash registers or related equipment.
• A valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
• Must be familiar with profit and loss statements.
• Preferred retail experience.
