General Manager - Phoenix, AZ
Major Responsibilities/Activities
- Oversight of lab operations
- Site visits with employees and customers
- Staffing manpower and equipment for operations
- Supporting Project Managers at assigned evergreens
- Developing and achieving fiscal budgets
- Utilizing key performance indicators to increase customer value
- Approving all lab expenditures
- Employee retention, review, and individual development
- Collaboration with the sales team on strategic targets and pricing strategies
- Facilitating contract review and negotiation
- Ensuring safety, quality, and radiation safety program compliance
- Maintaining all business records, including customer and vendor data files
- Formulating the annual business plan and budget and monitoring adherence
- Implementing company policies and protocols and ensuring compliance
- Accountability for division safety performance
- Division Profit and Loss statements and economic performance
- Division payroll and accounts payable
Minimum Requirements
- Prior experience in a General Management role preferred
- Experience in aerospace, industrial, nuclear, petrochemical, refining, or utility related environments required
- Bachelor’s degree or higher required
- Effective communication skills to manage emotional situations
- Understanding of MISTRAS’ Advanced Technology offerings
- Travel and overnight stays as needed
