About the Role
Apply your leadership background in General Management, Branch Management, and Operations/Project Management as the General Manager at Overhead Door Company of Little Rock™, a DH Pace Company. You will leverage hands-on management experience to assess current operations, recommend and implement procedural or process improvements, and foster team-building strategies while driving sales, profitability, and high-level customer service. This role oversees existing customer projects and ensures revenue growth for New Construction and Service work across three lines of business: commercial, residential, and entry door systems.

Responsibilities
- Achieve financial objectives by preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions with full P&L responsibility.
- Recommend and implement operational and sales procedural/process improvements to increase customer satisfaction while delivering healthy profit margins and return on sales that meet or exceed the annual financial budget/forecast.
- Leverage operations/process improvement expertise in a consultative manner to build employee confidence in leadership and adopted changes, becoming the “go-to resource” for operational assistance, advice, guidance, and career mentoring.
- Assist with employee/job scheduling and technical/mechanical troubleshooting and problem resolution.
- Perform regular audits and ensure staff adhere to the company’s best practices, policies, and procedures.
- Maintain professional communication with personnel and customers, resolving personnel matters and escalated customer concerns in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Minimum seven (7) years’ experience managing personnel, P&L, budgets, projects, materials ordering, sales, and customer service in a leadership position; preferably in a service provider industry such as HVAC or another construction/building materials business with products sold to end users, installed, and/or serviced at customer sites.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Willingness and availability to train in Kansas City up to three (3) times during the first 90 days of employment (one week per trip).
- Proficient with Windows-based programs and ERP/CRM systems.
- Analytical skills to evaluate operational data, processes, procedures, financial results, survey feedback, and other metrics to determine cause/effect relationships and isolate key information.
- Ability to understand technical applications and mechanical systems.
- Good driving record and valid driver’s license required.
- Successful completion of references, employment verifications, background check, and drug screen required prior to hire.
