About the role

Bareburger is seeking a Restaurant General Manager to lead our new location in Avon, CT. This role is part of an independently owned and operated franchisee, not Bareburger corporate.

Responsibilities

• Survey restaurant demand and confer with the community
• Evaluate competitors and prepare financial, marketing, and sales projections
• Develop and implement marketing, advertising, public, and community relations programs
• Monitor and evaluate purchases and inventory
• Maintain operations by adhering to policies and standard operating procedures
• Monitor, evaluate, and audit food, beverage, and service offerings
• Recruit, select, orient, train, assign, schedule, coach, counsel, and discipline management staff
• Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy facility environment
• Achieve restaurant human resource objectives
• Accomplish company goals by accepting ownership for new and different requests

Requirements

• 2 years+ Restaurant General Manager experience
• Valid NYC Department of Health Food Protection Certificate
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to develop future leaders
• The ability to speak, read, and write at a high level with guests and staff
• Be polite, infectious enthusiasm, high energy, respectful, and hospitable
• Knowledge of POS System functions
• Gmail Suite
• Experience with 3rd Party Delivery Platforms
