Job Summary

Full-time position requiring open availability for any/all shifts, including weekends and holidays. Salary: $65k annually.

About the role

The General Manager oversees all aspects of the dispensary, including personnel management, inventory control, sales, and customer relations. They are responsible for 20% of their time on inventory activities and ensuring accurate records are maintained.

Responsibilities

  • Manage dispensary cashflow, staff, schedules, inventory, and customer relations
  • Serve as a resource for staff on products, services, policies, and industry regulations
  • Coordinate with corporate retail team for accurate information dissemination
  • Drive program implementation and motivate/store team to achieve objectives
  • Plan, identify, and delegate responsibilities to Assistant Managers and store staff
  • Communicate operational goals to staff and lead team meetings
  • Create implementation plans for operational efficiency and optimal results
  • Engage with customers to understand needs and community insights
  • Train, coach, provide feedback, and develop dispensary employees
  • Assist in resolving customer issues and providing regular reports
  • Maintain accurate records of dispensary activities
  • Support the interviewing and selection process

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as Assistant Store Manager or Store Manager in retail or hospitality
  • Aged 21 or older
  • Professional demeanor with integrity and honesty
  • Flexible to accommodate scheduling demands, including weekends, regularly scheduled shifts, and applicable holidays
  • Demonstrated passion for serving the adult cannabis community
  • Proven ability to manage teams effectively
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, including Smartsheet
  • Strong operational skills in a customer-service environment
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information

Qualifications
