The General Manager position at Holman is a leadership role aimed at driving organizational growth and excellence. Holman is a family-owned, global automotive services organization known for its commitment to customer service and employee engagement.
Responsibilities
- Plans, develops, and implements policies and goals ensuring compliance with organizational standards.
- Counsels and directs the activities of various departments including sales, service, parts, body shop, F&I, and administration to enhance operational efficiency and economy.
- Analyzes department budgets to optimize profit opportunities and minimize costs, aligning with the overall budgetary goals.
- Communicates and oversees the direction of employees to ensure high levels of satisfaction among staff and customers, and to maximize return on investment.
- Promotes recruitment and development of dealership managers and non-management employees, and develops pay plans to achieve budgetary goals.
- Liaises with manufacturers to achieve factory objectives and executes strategic planning to meet long-term dealership goals.
- Maintains monitoring and management of HR topics and associated documentation, ensuring compliance and effective handling.
- Performs all other duties and special projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year College or University, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 8+ years of related experience, or 6+ years of dealership experience at a department manager level, or similar related work.
- Knowledge of principles, concepts, and methodologies of department operations to ensure profitability of the dealership.
Qualifications
- Total Target Compensation Range: $400,000 - $500,000 based on experience.
