About the role

The Holiday Inn Express - Sylacauga, AL is seeking a General Manager to join their team. This 60-room property is located on Lake Martin on US-280.

Responsibilities

• Lead the property with IHG experience, excellent customer service skills, and a management style focused on detailed involvement with daily operations.
• Strengthen the property team through training and attention to building structure in each department.
• Maintain profitability by closely monitoring top-line revenue and controlling expenses.
• Receive strong support and direction from Integral Hospitality Solutions, an IHG-approved management company.

Requirements

• At least one year IHG experience as a GM preferred.
• Experience with Opera / Holidex / Hotel Key.
• Sales experience a plus, including experience with Sales and marketing skills.
• Accessible at all times by cell phone.
• Available to work flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
• Represent the hotel professionally in both appearance and actions.
• Excellent communication skills - verbal and written.
• Attention to detail and great organizational skills.
• Financial leadership to manage the hotel's budget.
• A track record of motivating team members for optimal performance.
