About the role
The Delivery Operations Manager will report to the Field Regional Delivery Operations Manager. This position leads a team of contracted independent home delivery teams and associated internal employees in a fast-paced environment. Manages all facets of the operation, transportation, and home delivery to ensure processes and communications align with client requirements, delivering a positive customer experience and strong client partnership. Directs the development of warehouse personnel, operations, and contracted delivery partners to support the client relationship.
Responsibilities
- Support strategic direction to align all delivery operations with the client’s goals and expectations.
- Ensure proper measuring and monitoring of the complete fulfillment cycle, including transportation, receiving, quality inspections, and return inventory management.
- Maintain a safe work environment and equipment operation in compliance with OSHA and other state and local fire and safety regulations.
- Support enforcement of all government regulations related to warehouse and transportation operations, including OSHA and other agencies.
- Support policies and procedures for maintenance activities.
- Foster a team-oriented culture.
- Review and analyze activity, operating, and forecast reports to determine operational modifications.
- Support overall direction, coordination, motivation, and evaluation of direct reports.
- Establish and direct a personal development plan aligned with client requirements and specifications.
- Effectively manage KPI reporting.
- Manage 9+ White Glove Furniture Delivery Units per day and contracted independent home delivery teams.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of warehouse processes, technology, order fulfillment, transportation, and supply chain management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Effective organizational and planning skills, including problem-solving and root-cause analysis.
- Experience in direct customer interaction and managing teams to meet client expectations.
- Proven leadership ability, including mentoring, training, and team development.
- Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in warehouse management, distribution, and inventory control, preferably in big-box consumer goods or last-mile distribution (3PL).
- Proven track record of successful warehouse management for large clients with multi-year service agreements.
- 2-3 years of experience managing home delivery, 3PL (third-party logistics), and P&Ls.
Pay
The expected starting pay range for this position is $72,524.40 - $96,699.20 annualized salary. Offers are determined based on experience, skills, and qualifications.

5:00 AM to 2:00 PM, 5 days per week (Monday - Saturday).
