The U.S. Pharmacopeial Convention (USP) is an independent scientific organization that collaborates with health and science experts to develop rigorous quality standards for medicines, dietary supplements, and food ingredients. The General Manager, Dietary Supplement Verification leads the transformation, relaunch, and growth of USP's Dietary Supplement Verification Program (DSVP), a multimillion dollar global business serving leading manufacturers, retailers, and industry stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Leads an existing commercial team, including two sales/business development resources and a dedicated marketing resource
• Drives customer engagement, pipeline development, and relaunch execution through these team members
• Leverages an internal strategy/transformation support resource to advance cross-functional initiatives, program redesign, pricing evolution, and operational improvements
• Pairs closely with Verification Operations and Marketing leadership across a matrixed environment
• Scales team structure and capabilities over time in line with business growth and investment plans
• Strengthens consumer trust in a complex dietary supplement marketplace
• Expands access to trusted verification for consumers
• Maintains USP’s status as a premium, independent standard
• Serves as primary external representative with customers and industry
• Partners with Verification Operations on program evolution aligned to market needs
• Collaborates with Industry Programs and Marketing leadership
• Executes growth strategy across global customer base
• Delivers outcomes aligned with investment program

Qualifications

• 10+ years leadership/management experience
• 10+ years experience in dietary supplements or related industries, certification, or quality programs
• Understanding of manufacturing and quality systems
• Strong external-facing leadership track record

Pay

Base Salary Range: USD $208,000- $286,000 annually.
