About the role
The General Manager of ConexSmart and Integrated Cable Systems (ICS) oversees the business operations, strategy, and development of both companies. Key responsibilities include revenue planning, sales management, operations, engineering, new product development, market analysis, organizational design, workforce development, operational excellence, and facility improvements.
Responsibilities
- Develop vision and strategy for both businesses, aligning with Trexon's overall objectives.
- Communicate and operationalize strategies to teams and individual contributors, fostering empowerment and collaboration.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for geographic or market expansion.
- Build and appraise strategic partnerships, onboard new customers, and penetrate new markets.
- Elevate the channel-to-market organization and product development capabilities to achieve target customer, revenue, and profitability metrics.
- Monitor customer service and market trends to improve processes and relationships.
- Ensure that each company's philosophies, values, and market opportunities guide its product development processes.
- Lead and elevate product development processes and teams, optimizing the design process and assessing new product viability.
- Implement organization design changes to improve outcomes, focusing on how different parts of the organization work together.
- Plan, design, allocate, and shift resources as needed to support business priorities and objectives.
- Energize and focus teams, creating a high-performance and innovative work environment.
- Develop a sustainable, adaptable, and scalable team structure that supports career development and sustainability.
- Establish a human capital strategy that retains and develops top performers, including recruitment, hiring, and training programs.
- Set management standards and controls to ensure the health and safety of the organization and minimize risk.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in leading and growing a comparable business in relevant markets.
- At least ten (10) years of experience in a manufacturing organization, with at least seven (7) years in a meaningful sales or engineering leadership position.
- Proven experience in developing profitable strategies and implementing vision.
- Experience presenting high-level business performance and strategic initiatives to Corporate and/or Board leadership teams.
- Working knowledge of multi-faceted business processes and functions, including finance, product development, manufacturing, procurement, and people/performance management.
- Strong industry knowledge with deep knowledge of ISO and AS9100 certifications.
Qualifications
- U.S. person within the meaning of ITAR, as defined by being a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident, Political Asylee, or Refugee.
- Onsite position based in Colorado, requiring at least 25% travel to visit customers, peer group companies, and other Trexon business units.

Benefits
Salary range: $200,000—$225,000 USD.
