About the role
We are seeking experienced General Managers to lead our Chicago locations. This role is the CEO of your shop, overseeing operations, team development, and profitability.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations, from opening to closing, ensuring the highest standards of service and efficiency.
- Solve problems proactively and maintain a top-performing shop environment.
- Lead and motivate your team, fostering a positive and efficient work environment.
- Manage food and beverage management, including inventory, ordering, and budgeting.
- Recruit, hire, train, and evaluate team members, scheduling shifts to cover all positions.
- Ensure compliance with ServeSafe food safety standards and shop safety protocols.
- Oversee maintenance and upkeep of shop equipment and surroundings.
- Contribute to the company's success with ideas and feedback.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
- A good understanding of P&L, COGS, decision-making, process improvement, labor/scheduling, and team development.
- ServeSafe Manager’s Food Safety Certification.
- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and maintain required standards of operation.
- A hospitality-oriented approach to the guest experience.
- A hands-on managing style and willingness to lead by example.
- An initiative-driven attitude and a proactive mindset.
- A positive, energetic, and can-do attitude.
- A team player with a willingness to help others.
- The ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure, seeking to solve problems.
- A clear and efficient communicator with proven coaching and leadership skills.

Pay
$70,000 starting salary with a 20% bonus opportunity.
Schedule
Work 5 days a week, available to work weekends.
