General Manager / Chef Manager

About the role

This is a high-impact leadership role overseeing a dynamic team and delivering exceptional student dining experiences.

Responsibilities

• Have oversight of day-to-day operations
• Deliver high quality food service
• Achie company and client financial targets and goals
• Develop and maintain client and customer relationships
• Create and implement strategic plans

• Ensure Sodexo standards are met

Requirements

• Have a work history demonstrating strong employee engagement leadership skills, as well as previous supervisory experience and the ability to work collaboratively
• Have culinary production experience and a strong background in safety and sanitation compliance
• Manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills and passion for a high level of customer service
• Prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed
• Demonstrate working knowledge of Sodexo Food Management Systems (FMS & DRIVE) and The Market Connection (TMC)

Qualifications

• Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum Management Experience - 2 Years
• Minimum Functional Experience - 2 years
