General Manager - Bedford

Wendy’s of Western Virginia, a locally owned franchise with 14 restaurants, is growing and seeking career-minded, motivated General Managers to lead teams in Roanoke and Lynchburg locations. Responsibilities

• Lead your team to create a restaurant of choice by delivering the best food in a friendly, fast-paced environment.
• Control and monitor store cash, inventory, and equipment to ensure operational success.
• Manage, empower, and assist your team in achieving organizational goals, supporting "Service Excellence" for every customer.
• Set and maintain high standards for Quality, Service, and Cleanliness across all dayparts, including monitoring food quality.
• Perform HR duties to maximize employee engagement and retention.
• Interview and recommend candidates to maintain proper staffing levels.
• Complete all required administrative duties.
• Provide A+ training for every employee using established systems.
• Ensure all food safety procedures are executed at a high level, in accordance with Company and Health Department standards.

Requirements

• Restaurant or retail experience, with a focus on customer service.
• College degree or 3–4 years of line operations experience in the restaurant industry.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including late nights (most drive-thrus open until midnight).
• Strong customer service, communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods without a break and travel to banks, other restaurants, the Area Office, etc.
• Reliability is a must.
