General Manager, Aviation Lounge 1

Sodexo Live!'s Airport Lounge Segment is seeking a hands-on leader to oversee daily operations and service staff for the United Lounge at Ronald Reagan International Airport in Arlington, VA. This role drives guest experience and financial performance across food and beverage, custodial, and supervisory teams.

About the role

Take charge of a vibrant, fast-paced environment where you’ll oversee daily operations, lead service excellence, and drive team performance across multiple service areas. Build strong client partnerships, inspire your team, and make a measurable impact on guest satisfaction and financial outcomes.

Accountable for managing people, setting direction, and deploying resources—including performance evaluations, pay reviews, and hire/fire decisions. Results are achieved through the work of others and depend on your ability to influence and negotiate across the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 5 years of management experience
• 5 years of related experience in food service or hospitality
• Leadership experience with a strong track record of team development and employee engagement
• Solid financial acumen and ability to manage budgets, analyze performance, and implement cost-effective strategies
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills to partner with clients, customers, and team members
• A hands-on, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to adapt and lead in a fast-paced, multi-service environment
• Passion for delivering excellent guest experiences through operational excellence, innovation, and attention to detail

Pay

Base salary range: $89,250 – $115,500 per year. Eligible to participate in Sodexo’s incentive plan for variable compensation in addition to base salary.
