About The Role
As a General Manager, you'll oversee a shared kitchen at a Wonder location, managing a diverse team and collaborating with multiple brands. You'll lead operations, manage finances, and represent Wonder in the local ecosystem.
Responsibilities
Lead day-to-day operations with excellence, overseeing kitchen, service, and fulfillment channels.
Optimize labor deployment, throughput, and service execution to meet evolving business needs.
Maintain strict adherence to labor, food safety, team member safety, and compliance standards.
Monitor and manage inventory accuracy, waste reduction efforts, and product shelf life adherence.
Forecast demand, resolve obstacles, and adjust workflows in real-time.
Monitor customer feedback and operational trends to make data-informed decisions.
Set and drive key operational KPIs, ensuring alignment across internal and external contributors.
Manage a blended workforce of internal employees and external partners.
Address performance issues respectfully and quickly using coaching and performance tools.
Ensure compliance with state and federal labor laws.
Take full ownership of the location’s P&L and use data to influence labor efficiency, food costs, and operational margin.
Partner cross-functionally to identify cost-saving and revenue-driving opportunities.
Build action plans around local performance insights, customer feedback, and operational trends.
Grow the business by selecting, developing, and deploying certified trainers, and mentoring managers-in-training.
Anticipate future business needs and align staffing, scheduling, and development efforts for growth.
Contribute to company innovation and evolution by sharing feedback, piloting new initiatives, and championing best practices.
Requirements
Must be 21 years old and legally authorized to work in the US.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
Must have open availability, including nights and weekends.
Must have a Food Manager Certificate as required by State, County, or Local Health Departments.
Who You Are
A business operator with at least 3 years of experience leading high-volume, complex operations in sectors like logistics, field-based retail, hospitality, food, or eCommerce. Proven leadership background and track record of progressive growth and advancement. Demonstrated success in full P&L ownership, KPI management, and driving operational results. A proactive problem solver who thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments. Comfortable managing hybrid workforces across employees and contracted vendors/partners. Known for cross-functional fluency—able to influence and collaborate across finance, HR, logistics, culinary, and partner organizations. Obsessed with customer service, quality, accountability, and results.
Role Details
Salary Range: $95,000 - $109,500 per year
