Job Summary
Victra is the largest Verizon authorized retailer in the United States. As a General Manager, you will shape the guest experience by coaching your team and driving high-performance results.
About the Role
You will have a high level of accountability for all retail store functions and communicate the company vision through directing the day-to-day activities of the entire store staff. You will act as a mentor for your Assistant General Manager and drive the business forward by motivating your team to excel in every guest interaction.
Responsibilities
- Drive for high-performance results within a fast-paced, demanding solutions sales environment
- Focusing on optimizing customer and employee experience
- Act as a mentor for your Assistant General Manager
- Complete trainings and attend weekly sales leadership calls
- Motivate your team to do their best in every guest interaction
- Build, develop, and mentor your sales team
- Engage in sales strategy development to ensure our products and services are effectively showcased throughout the store
- Own store success and take ownership for store employees’ work-related needs, store leadership, staffing and scheduling, maintaining labor controls, marketing, loss prevention and all other store functions
- Own all guest escalations and provide a timely resolution
- Clearly communicate company objectives and priorities to team members and provide timely follow up
- Stay up to date with new sales promotions and ensure they are providing our guests with a complete solution to meet their current and future needs
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in a retail sales environment
- 2 years in a leadership/supervisory role
- Management experience in a commissions-based sales environment
- Proven track record of achieving challenging team and individual sales goals
- Balanced multiple opposing priorities in a multifaceted environment
- Set goals, evaluated performance, and developed a high performing team
- Basic interview skills and enhanced staffing knowledge
- High school diploma or GED
- One or more years of customer service, preferably in a retail or sales environment
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, holidays, November through December, and/or during peak vacation periods
- At least 18 years of age
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to lift ten pounds and stand for long periods of time

Compensation
$21.00/hour with uncapped earning potential through commission
Training Requirements
- New Hire University (NHU) training program within 30 days of official start date
- General Manager University (SMU) training program within 30 days of completing NHU
- Variety of online and computer-based training throughout employment
