General Manager Job Summary

Urban Air is seeking a General Manager to lead the team, foster a positive culture, and drive success. This role involves motivating, training, and developing staff to achieve financial goals.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, and mentor staff to develop their skills
• Cultivate a team environment focused on exceptional customer service
• Implement and execute staff training programs
• Select and develop Area Leads and Certified Trainers for promotion and responsibility
• Lead and influence managerial staff through motivation and leveraging strengths
• Maintain employee recognition and incentive programs
• Maintain a strong community presence through partnerships
• Manage safety, cleanliness, and security for guests and staff
• Execute all aspects of operations to fulfill financial goals and company initiatives
• Improve operational execution through attention to detail and adherence to standards
• Direct management team and ensure high staff performance
• Foster positive employee relations and delegate effectively
• Monitor online reviews to improve guest experience
• Capitalize on business opportunities by executing marketing strategies
• Maintain systems for inventory control and fiscal responsibility
• Analyze financial reports and develop action plans to grow revenue and control expenses

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and decision-making skills
• Experience in hospitality, particularly theme parks, family entertainment centers, hotels, resorts, casinos, or restaurants
• At least 3 years of experience in facility operations and management
• Proven ability to develop team members
• Ability to achieve financial results
• Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office
• Professional appearance and conduct
• Adaptability and flexibility
• Innovative and strategic thinking
