Job Summary
Urban Air is seeking a General Manager to lead the team, foster a positive culture, and drive success while maintaining a fun environment.
Responsibilities
- Hire, train, and mentor staff to develop their skills
- Cultivate a team environment focused on exceptional customer service
- Implement and execute staff training programs
- Aid in selecting and developing Area Leads and Certified Trainers
- Lead and influence managerial staff through effective motivation
- Maintain a strong community presence through partnerships
- Maintain a safe, clean, and secure environment for guests and staff
- Ensure all aspects of the operation align with financial goals and company initiatives
- Provide direction to the management team and ensure high staff morale
- Monitor online reviews to ensure consistent guest satisfaction
- Capitalize on business opportunities by executing marketing strategies
- Maintain systems for fiscal responsibility, including inventory control and staffing levels
- Analyze financial reports and develop action plans to grow revenue and control expenses
Qualifications
- Strong character and good judgment in decision-making
- Experience in hospitality, particularly in theme parks, family entertainment centers, hotels, resorts, casinos, or restaurants
- 3+ years of experience in facility operations and management
- Demonstrated ability to develop team members in various areas
- Proven ability to achieve expected store financial results
- Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office
- Professional grooming and conduct
- Adaptability, flexibility, and enthusiasm for the business
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with employees, management, and vendors
- Ability to hold oneself accountable for high personal standards
