General Manager Job Summary

Urban Air is seeking a General Manager to lead the team, foster a positive culture, and drive success while maintaining a fun atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, and mentor staff to develop their skills
• Cultivate a team environment focused on exceptional customer service
• Implement and execute staff training programs
• Select and develop Area Leads and Certified Trainers for growth and promotion
• Lead and influence managerial staff through motivation and leveraging strengths
• Maintain a strong community presence through partnerships

Operations

• Maintain a safe, clean, and secure environment for guests and staff
• Execute all aspects of operations including entertainment, food, beverage, attractions, and property
• Improve operational execution through attention to detail and adherence to standards
• Direct the management team and ensure high staff performance
• Promote positive employee relations and delegate effectively
• Aid franchise owners in setting and meeting departmental goals
• Monitor online reviews to enhance guest experience

Financials

• Capitalize business opportunities by executing marketing strategies
• Maintain systems for inventory control and proper ordering
• Manage staffing levels and ensure appropriate management coverage
• Analyze financial reports and develop action plans to grow revenue and control expenses

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and decision-making skills
• Experience in hospitality, particularly in theme parks, family entertainment centers, hotels, resorts, casinos, or restaurants
• 3+ years of experience in facility operations and management
• Ability to develop team members and achieve financial results
• Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office)
• Professional appearance and conduct
• Adaptability and flexibility
• Innovative and strategic thinking
