Store General Manager — Uptown Cheapskate
Role Overview
We're seeking a hands-on Store General Manager who loves people, fashion, and high-energy retail to lead our team and drive business growth. You'll support associates, maintain visual standards, and deliver exceptional customer experiences. Your main focus will be building a cohesive, supportive team culture that unites diverse strengths.
What You'll Do
- Lead, coach, and develop the store team through feedback and hands-on support
- Build a positive culture where people feel included, supported, and accountable
- Learn each person's strengths and put them in positions to succeed
- Keep the store clean, organized, and on-brand
- Oversee sales, buying, staffing, and customer experience day to day
- Partner with leadership on promotions, local marketing, and community events
Qualifications
- Have managed people before
- Like leading from the floor, not just the office
- Are organized, keep things moving, and communicate clearly
- Can read basic numbers and use them to make smart decisions
- Care about customer experience
- Believe a great team is built from different strengths
- Enjoy fashion, brands, trends, and resale

Success Criteria
- The team knows what to do, and the store feels positive and fun to be in
- Team members are using their strengths and improving over time

- Vendors love selling to us, so we get the best inventory
- The store looks sharp and runs smoothly
Compensation and Growth Path
Compensation: Base salary of $60,000, with bonus potential up to an additional $20,000 based on performance.
Growth Path: This role can grow into a Regional Manager or New Store Operations Manager position as we expand. We're looking for someone who wants to grow with the business and help build a store people are proud to work in.
