Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Owner on full facility oversight: daily operations, scheduling, inventory control, compliance, and maintaining a safe, spotless, world-class environment.
Directly support and coach department leads—Firearms Instructors (threat-based simulators, force-on-force, live-fire ranges), Front Desk Associates (customer check-ins, reservations, billing), and Sales Representatives (membership demos, tours, CRM updates).
Help drive key performance metrics: revenue targets, membership growth, class fill rates, customer satisfaction scores, and retail/training upsell opportunities.
Step in to manage peak periods, resolve escalated customer issues, and ensure seamless execution of training sessions, facility tours, and sales presentations.
Maintain rigorous safety standards and protocols across all simulator, force-on-force, and live-fire activities—keeping every participant secure and confident.
Assist with administrative systems: CRM management, class/seminar scheduling, performance reporting, and process improvements to keep operations efficient and scalable.
Represent UDT with positivity and professionalism—delivering white-glove service that turns first-time visitors into lifelong empowered defenders.
Requirements
4+ years of supervisory or assistant management experience in training facilities, fitness centers, hospitality, retail operations, or member-based services—firearms, tactical, or shooting range background is a strong advantage.
Proven ability to coach and motivate teams, hit performance goals, and maintain high standards under pressure.
Strong operational mindset: comfort with scheduling tools, CRM platforms, Microsoft Office/Google Suite, and basic data analysis to support decisions.
Excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills to handle diverse customers and team dynamics.
High energy, calm demeanor, and genuine passion for firearms safety, self-defense, and empowerment—relevant certifications (NRA, USCCA, AZPOST, etc.) or willingness to obtain them preferred.
