ManagementFull-time

Ludico is an exciting new restaurant concept from Tribeca Hospitality Group, bringing together fresh, vibrant, and transportive European flavors in an elevated yet approachable dining experience in New York City.

About the role

We are seeking a talented and driven General Manager with a strong track record of successfully opening fine dining restaurants in Manhattan. The ideal candidate will position the restaurant for success from day one, bringing strong leadership, team-building skills, and a sharp eye for cost controls and P&L management. This role involves partnering closely with the culinary leadership team to ensure a seamless, elevated guest journey—from reservations and service flow to staff training and quality consistency.

You will oversee the opening of a fine dining restaurant while managing floor operations across a high-volume, multi-room space without losing the intimacy of a neighborhood spot. Your responsibilities will include leading a large front-of-house team that treats regulars like family and makes first-timers feel welcome, while ensuring service always complements the food and beverage experience.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day floor operations across multiple distinct rooms and service styles (fine dining, bar, private events, outdoor).
  • Recruit, train, and develop a large front-of-house team.
  • Manage labor, budgets, and P&L for a high-volume operation.
  • Handle VIP guests, private events, and high-profile reservations.
  • Cultivate a service culture that is elevated and attentive but never stiff or overproduced.
  • Ensure health, safety, and compliance across a large, complex space.

Requirements

  • 5+ years as a GM or senior FOH leader in a high-volume, upscale restaurant (multi-room or multi-concept experience a plus).
  • Real passion for wine and beverage (deep wine list experience strongly preferred).
  • A track record of building service cultures, not just enforcing standards.
  • Comfort managing large teams, big rooms, and high covers while maintaining a personal, boutique guest experience.
  • Strong financial acumen: labor, P&L, and forecasting.
  • Poise with high-profile guests and press-worthy events.
  • NYC restaurant experience strongly preferred.
