General Manager

This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, Arzoie Hotels. The franchisee controls all employment policies and practices, including hiring, compensation, and benefits. If hired, you will be employed by the franchisee, not Marriott International, Inc.

About the role

We are seeking an engaged, authentic General Manager to lead our Extended Stay hotel and operate it as a "best-in-class" property. The General Manager serves as the primary strategic business leader, responsible for all aspects of operations, including guest and employee satisfaction, financial performance, sales, revenue generation, and delivering a return on investment to ownership.

Responsibilities

• Implement the brand service strategy and initiatives to meet or exceed guest expectations and increase profit and market share.
• Hold the property leadership team accountable for strategy execution and guide their professional development, along with that of all team members.
• Leverage sales engines to drive revenue.
• Build owner loyalty through proactive communication, expectation management, and delivering solid business results.
• Engage actively in the local community to foster strong relationships with officials, businesses, and customers.
• Ensure exceptional guest service results as measured through guest satisfaction.
• Oversee financial performance, including meeting budgets, understanding P&L statements, and managing cost controls.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of hotel management experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with branded hotels.
• Proven track record of meeting budgets, understanding P&L statements, and managing cost controls.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional guest service results.
• Strong financial knowledge.
• Hotel sales experience.
• Desire to operate a "best-in-class" hotel.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and speak English with excellent grammar and communication skills (written and verbal).
• Marriott Certified (preferred).

Pay

$65,000 - $75,000 per year.
