General Manager

About the role

We treat our General Managers like owners, encouraging creativity in hiring, marketing, and community outreach while rewarding goal achievement through a bonus program tied to store profitability. This role leads store operations and is responsible for sales, customer service, product quality, and staff development. We provide multi-week training with experienced trainers to ensure success.

Responsibilities

• Achieve overall performance goals including sales, customer service, product quality, and staff development.
• Lead store operations with full accountability for results.
• Execute business plans and grow sales while building community relationships.
• Hire, coach, and develop talent, including seasonal workers.
• Ensure product quality and uphold brand standards.

Ideal Candidate

• Current GM from a retail or restaurant environment with a passion for hands-on customer service.
• Proven ability to grow in previous roles and understand P&L impact.
• Strong desire to increase sales and build community relationships.
• Skilled at coaching and developing talent.
• Experience hiring seasonal workers is a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Bending, stooping, standing for long periods, twisting, and lifting products/supplies up to 65 lbs.
• Working with a hot torch.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
