About the role
Oversees a group of store managers within a geographic region to maintain optimum efficiency and economy of operations based on goals set by region leadership.
Responsibilities
- Manages financial analysis, budgeting, and business planning activities.
- Makes sure staff performance is monitored to ensure goals and targets are met.
- Takes corrective actions as needed.
- Oversees the daily operations of the Exchange.
- Interacts with retail, food, services, human resources, loss prevention, to ensure execution of programs.
- Intervenes with military command elements including command meetings, real property, master planning, and protocol.
- Develops, trains, coaches, and mentors managers and associates for future development.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Eight years of progressive retail/food/services management experience.
- One year of experience must include the following with in the last five years: Main Store Manager, General Manager, Operations Manager, Sales & Merchandise Manager, Exchange Retail Business Manager, Exchange Business Manager, Branch Store or Region Retail Program Specialist.
- Associate must obtain General Manager contracting authority within 7 days of assuming this role.
- Or Bachelor's degree and six years of progressive retail/food/services management experience.
- One year of experience must include the following with in the last five years: Main Store Manager, General Manager, Operations Manager, Sales & Merchandise Manager, Exchange Retail Business Manager, Exchange Business Manager, Branch Store or Region Retail Program Specialist.
- Associate must obtain General Manager contracting authority within 7 days of assuming this role.

- MARKETING - Preferred
Additional Qualifications/Requirements
- Work – Onsite (Joint Base McGuire/Dix Exchange - New Jersey)
- Remote/Telework not authorized per Presidential Memorandum “Return to In Person Work”
- PCS authorized for eligible associates.
- Relocation entitlements/allowances may vary.
Pay
Minimum $100,301.00
