About the role
Taste Buds Kitchen hosts events 7-days a week. Open availability is required, including nights and weekends.
Responsibilities
- Instruct Classes (as needed)
- Engage and teach guests about various cooking/baking skills related to the class menu
- Ensure all clients have a great experience
- Ensure that all classes, staff, and facilities are meeting Taste Buds Kitchen standards
- Aid in the hiring, training, managing, scheduling, and developing the employee team
- Improve and streamline systems for efficiency
- Respond to sales inquiries from clients and bookings to find the “right fit” for our clients and meet sales goals
- Implement marketing campaigns
- Track and meet monthly sales goals
- Maintain a positive social media presence
- Manage and maintain a motivated team
- Manage and follow company policies, systems, and laws
- Learn all aspects of event operations
Requirements
- Great leader capable of recruiting and training staff as well as managing and maintaining a motivated team
- Comfortable with a range of cooking techniques (and learning more!)
- Experience working with people of all ages
- 1-3 years experience in a management position
- Strong customer service skills
Qualifications
- Formal culinary education or equivalent experience a plus
- Must enjoy the atmosphere of a small business and want to grow as we grow
