About the role
Steinhafels is recruiting for a General Manager in the Fox Valley. This position oversees all operations of their facility, manages employees, and handles customer and sales matters.
Responsibilities
- Oversees store management staff and all store employees
- Reviews sales team under direction from the company standards
- Addresses customer issues timely with a goal to resolve, satisfy the customer, and ensure it does not repeat
- Opens and closes the retail store ensuring every detail has been accomplished
- Maintains only the highest standards of cleanliness
- Handles all conflicts in a timely manner with the goal to resolve
- Responsible for the retail floor layout and presentation
- Pre-employment surveys, interviewing, and hiring to meet staffing requirements
Requirements
- Responsible for budgeting expenses, overtime, and sales
- Requires excellent communication, organizational, and motivational skills
- Requires previous management experience
