Job Summary
Squeeze Massage is seeking an energetic and dynamic General Manager to lead our studio operations with enthusiasm and strategic vision. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily shop activities, drive sales growth, and ensure exceptional customer service. Your leadership will inspire teams, optimize operational efficiency, and foster a positive shopping environment.
Responsibilities
- Foster meaningful, positive relationships with your team and guests
- Manage day-to-day shop operations, including management of staff
- Recruit, interview, onboard, and retain a best-in-class shop team
- Build and maintain staff schedules
- Provide consistent, transparent feedback to your team to ensure standards are upheld at all times
- Develop and maintain relationships with local schools, professional associations, and local businesses in your community
- Execute operations, HR, and local marketing objectives
- Manage timekeeping and payroll reporting for your staff
- Resolve employee relations and guest issues, while also maintaining culture and morale
- Manage inventory and minimize shrink
About You
- You are an experienced, business-savvy and people-oriented General Manager with 5-10 years working in high-volume retail service businesses
- You prioritize over-the-top, first-class guest service as well as driving a bottom line
- You create a motivational environment where your team is passionate about delivering an amazing guest experience, each and every time
- Your management style includes: entrepreneurial, analytical, coach, empathetic
- You have a hospitality orientation, are gracious and patient, and warm in nature with strong communication skills
- You are passionate about all things health and wellness and wholeheartedly believe in the benefits of massage for a balanced lifestyle

Experience
- 5-10 years in retail, preferably hospitality or service-related experience
- Proven track record in building consistent, recurring retail business, and delivering an exceptional guest experience
- Experienced in operating a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Previously managed a minimum of 15 direct reports
- Advanced expertise in recruiting, onboarding, and developing a team
- Inventory management and scheduling expertise
