General Manager

About the Role

We’re looking for a General Manager / Site Manager to lead a high-volume Express Car Wash and manage a team of 10–15 employees. This full-time management role is ideal for a hands-on leader with experience as a Store Manager, Retail Manager, Restaurant Manager, Operations Manager, Service Manager, or Customer Service Manager in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations with a focus on excellence, accountability, and team development
• Hire, train, and develop team members through hands-on coaching and regular feedback
• Monitor traffic flow and weather conditions to optimize staffing and maintain tunnel efficiency
• Maintain site cleanliness, safety, and peak performance through preventive maintenance
• Monitor KPIs, manage labor costs, and execute business strategies using checklists, audits, and KPI dashboards
• Drive membership sales by coaching the team to improve conversion and service standards
• Handle scheduling, payroll, hiring, and team documentation accurately
• Ensure safety and compliance with procedures and policies
• Lead by example, foster a positive culture, and uphold SpeedWash Car Wash values

Key Performance Indicators

• Membership capture rate
• Total car count
• Net membership growth
• Maintain labor percentage and reduce turnover
• Uptime and down-equipment response time
• Customer satisfaction (Google Reviews)
• Site cleanliness and inspection audit scores

Requirements

• At least 5+ years of management experience (required)
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends (required)
• Point of Sale (POS) knowledge
• Experience in multi-unit or high-volume service environments (preferred)
• Preventative maintenance mindset (preferred)
• Valid driver’s license (required)

Training & Certification

You’ll complete hands-on training across operations, team leadership, customer recovery, and preventative maintenance. Certification (3–6 months) is based on performance in key KPIs, operational standards, and leadership readiness. Raise eligibility begins after certification.

Pay

$60,000.00 - $126,000.00 annually, with bi-weekly pay and monthly bonuses for exceeding KPIs.
