About the role

Sofive Soccer Centers, Brooklyn is an indoor soccer facility housing ten 5-a-side soccer fields. We make "the beautiful game" more available than ever before for soccer and fitness enthusiasts by providing easy access to the highest quality, 5-a-side, all-season soccer centers. We are a growing startup that is developing state-of-the-art soccer centers – modern sport complexes with small-sided soccer fields. We have 22 sites to date, with many more in the pipeline.

General Manager

• Hire, train, and lead all center staff (Assistant Managers, Duty Managers, Program Coordinators, Sports Associates, and Service Representatives)
• Conduct weekly staff and management meetings for alignment and communication
• Drive local marketing and sales initiatives to boost participation and community engagement
• Maintain strict compliance with company policies and procedures
• Operate within budget and ensure timely bank deposits
• Support the continuous development and improvement of Sofive’s operational standards
• Take on additional responsibilities as needed to meet business goals

Requirements

• Deep passion for and understanding of the soccer industry
• 5+ years of management experience, preferably in sports, recreation, hospitality, or a related field
• Proven leadership ability with experience managing diverse teams
• Excellent communication skills with a customer-centric mindset
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering a top-tier customer experience
• Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding revenue and operational targets
• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools
