General Manager

About the role

We are seeking a General Manager to lead our team and drive business success. This role requires strong leadership, decision-making, and business acumen.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train, develop, and retain a high-performing team
• Lead by example, creating a positive, engaging, and accountable work environment
• Coach and develop Team Members through feedback, recognition, and performance management
• Deliver an outstanding guest experience by ensuring every interaction reflects our values and commitment to excellence
• Drive store performance by achieving sales, profitability, labor, and operational goals
• Analyze key business metrics and implement action plans to drive results
• Utilize operational tools and reporting to effectively manage the business
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, health, and operational standards
• Manage inventory and vendor relationships to ensure product quality, availability, and cost control
• Maintain accurate cash handling and financial controls
• Champion and uphold Smoothie King brand standards
• Execute company initiatives, promotions, and operational programs
• Develop and implement local store marketing and community engagement efforts
• Recognize and celebrate individual and team achievements
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners to support store success and continuous improvement
• Demonstrate flexibility and a growth mindset

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality Management, or a related field preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience managing a team in a restaurant, retail, hospitality, or other customer-focused environment
• Experience managing day-to-day operations, including staffing, scheduling, inventory, and financial controls
• Experience driving operational performance and achieving business results
• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications and POS systems
• ServSafe Certification or ability to obtain certification upon hire
• Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local employment, workplace safety, and food safety regulations preferred
