Full-time, onsite role overseeing all aspects of park operations under the guidance of the District Manager.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily park operations and three key areas: team members & customer service, revenue & expense management, and facility compliance & safety.
- Team Members & Customer Service
- Act as a hands-on leader, supporting the team by executing any park position as needed.
- Develop Assistant General Managers and Team Leads into strong leaders, operational experts, and business-savvy professionals.
- Oversee training provided by AGMs and Team Leads to all park team members.
- Foster a positive park culture by recognizing accomplishments and understanding team motivations.
- Manage all phases of employment, including hiring, training, discipline, and termination.
- Maintain consistent communication across all departments and with the corporate team.
- Create memorable customer experiences by being proactive, responsive, and engaged.
- Resolve customer service issues by listening, discussing, and documenting resolutions and follow-ups.
- Revenue & Expense Management
- Manage park operations and expenses according to Profit & Loss (P&L) statements.
- Oversee purchases, inventory, and park costs; renegotiate terms when necessary.
- Drive achievement of park revenue goals in membership sales, birthday parties, and special events.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and coordinate park promotions and strategies.
- Train employees on how their roles contribute to park revenue goals.
- Develop Front Desk Agents in sales processes and effective sales strategies.
- Ensure Front Desk, Party Hosts, and managers understand their key performance metrics (KPIs).
- Build and maintain positive relationships within the local community.
- Encourage and implement creative ideas to enhance park operations.
- Facility Compliance & Safety
- Evaluate and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of each department.
- Ensure all team members are trained on safety precautions, responses, and reporting, compliant with company and OSHA requirements.
- Monitor park attractions and equipment daily to ensure safety and full operation; complete work orders and maintenance reports as needed.
- Adjust staffing levels to meet safety demands.
- Complete inventory reports for facilities, parties, food & beverage, and vending.
- Drive the success of overall park business goals, including membership sales, birthdays and events, labor/payroll %, NPS, safety, compliance, and staffing.
Requirements
- 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of overall management experience in a high customer volume industry (e.g., entertainment, fitness, retail, restaurant).
- At least 2 years of sales experience; membership sales preferred.
- Proficiency in leveraging P&L reports to set and manage business revenue goals.
- Demonstrated experience hitting or exceeding company KPIs.
- Basic proficiency in technology such as MS Office Suite, Teams, and point of sale (POS) systems.
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Results-driven, reliable, detail-oriented, and organized.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift a minimum of 20 pounds.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to remain stationary and move around the park for extended periods to meet guest, park, and safety needs.
- Ability to lift and/or move a minimum of 20 pounds.
- Ability to frequently communicate and interact with employees and customers in a busy, often loud indoor environment.
Pay
Compensation ranges from $78,000–$88,000 base pay plus bonus opportunity, based on qualifications, experience, and performance.
