Day-to-day duties

  • Schedules team members
  • Guarantees guests the Robbins Brothers experience
  • Adheres to the visual guide
  • Manages the budget
  • Ensures merchandise security

People Development

  • Absorbs and evaluates sales talent
  • Hires and retains sales associates
  • Ensures sales associates complete on-boarding training and company-sponsored education programs
  • Fosters a team-oriented environment
  • Develops sales associates’ skills through clear, behaviorally specific feedback
  • Keeps employees accountable for targets, goals, and personal improvement
  • Encourages, inspires, mentors, and recognizes team members
  • Delivers performance evaluations within required timeframe
  • Conducts succession planning as required

Merchandise Management

  • Completes required product training
  • Acquires expert product knowledge and stays updated on new merchandise
  • Trains and coaches sales associates in all product categories
  • Coaches sales associates on maximizing gross margin and using resources
  • Adheres to visual guides and follows best practices for merchandise displays
  • Holds associates accountable for quality control and security standards
  • Controls inventory shrinkage

Business Acumen

  • Demonstrates knowledge of budgets and monitors sales and expenses
  • Analyzes financial data and identifies opportunities and risks
  • Plans and executes critical business activities within required timeframes
  • Adjusts sales approach to evolving conditions
  • Recognizes and meets business requirements promptly
  • Shows effective problem-solving skills for unpredictable and complex situations
  • Implements and manages changes in a business context

Store Operations and Maintenance

  • Ensures compliance with opening and closing policies and procedures
  • Manages store maintenance concerns
  • Ensures optimal guest experience

Job Specifics

  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Exempt Reports To: Vice President of Stores
  • Direct Reports: Floor Manager, Office Manager, Master Jeweler, Guest Experience Relations, Sales Associates, and others as assigned.
  • Compensation: Salary with Bonus

  • Shift: Day shift, Evening shift, Weekends
  • Experience: Management experience: 5 or more years (Required); Jewelry retail management experience: 5 years or more (Preferred); Customer service: 5 years or more (Preferred); High-end sales: 3 years or more (Preferred); CRM software: 3 years (Preferred); Salesforce: 2 years (Preferred)
