Day-to-day duties

  • Schedules team members
  • Guarantees guests the Robbins Brothers experience
  • Adheres to the visual guide
  • Manages the budget
  • Ensures merchandise security

People Development

  • Absorbs and evaluates sales talent
  • Hires and retains sales associates
  • Ensures associates complete on-boarding training and company-sponsored education program
  • Fosters a team-oriented environment
  • Provides clear, behaviorally specific performance feedback
  • Holds employees accountable for sales targets, strategic goals, and personal improvement expectations
  • Encourages, inspires, mentors, and recognizes team members for performance
  • Delivers effective performance evaluations within the required timeframe
  • Conducts succession planning at the required intervals

Merchandise Management

  • Completes required product training
  • Acquires expert product knowledge and stays updated on incoming merchandise
  • Trains and coaches sales associates in all product categories
  • Coaches sales associates on maximizing gross margin
  • Adheres to visual guides for merchandise displays
  • Holds sales associates accountable for Robbins Brothers quality control and security standards
  • Controls inventory shrinkage

Business Acumen

  • Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of budgets
  • Monitors sales and expenses
  • Ensures store operates within financial targets
  • Analyzes financial data
  • Develops strategies to address areas of concern
  • Plans critical business activities
  • Adjusts sales approach to evolving conditions
  • Recognizes most important tasks of store operations
  • Exhibits effective business problem-solving skills
  • Implements and manages changes in a business context

Store Operations and Maintenance

  • Ensures compliance with opening and closing policies and procedures
  • Manages store maintenance concerns
  • Ensures optimal guest experience

Job Specifics

  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Reports To: Vice President of Stores
  • Direct Reports: Floor Manager, Office Manager, Master Jeweler, Guest Experience Relations, Sales Associates, and others as assigned.
  • Compensation: Salary with Bonus

  • Experience: Management experience: 5 or more years (Required), Jewelry retail manage experience: 5 years or more (Preferred), Customer service: 5 years or more (Preferred), High-end sales: 3 years or more (Preferred), CRM software: 3 years (Preferred), Salesforce: 2 years (Preferred)
