General Manager
Overview
Revere Plastics Systems is seeking a General Manager to lead its Ankeny, Iowa manufacturing facility. This role offers full P&L ownership, direct impact on operations, culture, and commercial performance, and high visibility and autonomy.
Opportunity
Full P&L ownership of a ~$10–12M manufacturing operation
Lead a 40-person, 3-shift operation with diverse manufacturing processes
Drive measurable impact across EBITDA and cost performance, safety, operational execution, and customer satisfaction and growth
Responsibilities
Lead the Business
Own plant performance across financial, operational, and customer metrics
Drive annual operating plans, forecasting, and performance reviews
Make timely, data-driven decisions that balance business needs and customer expectations
Build and Develop a Winning Team
Lead and develop a cross-functional leadership team
Create a strong succession pipeline, including future plant leadership
Align shifts and functions through visible, engaged leadership
Shape the Culture
Foster a people-first, high-accountability culture built on Revere's 4Es (Energy, Energize, Edge, Execute)
Eliminate barriers and create a unified, collaborative team environment
Lead with presence on the floor, building trust at all levels
Drive Operational Excellence
Lead continuous improvement initiatives that reduce waste and improve efficiency
Deliver results across key KPIs: Safety, Cost and productivity (DLE), Customer performance, Inventory and CI savings
Ensure disciplined execution of the Revere Business System
Strengthen Customer Relationships
Own customer performance, including delivery, quality, and scorecards
Partner with commercial teams on growth opportunities and new business
Serve as a visible leader with key customers
Requirements
Experience: 7–10+ years in manufacturing, 3–5+ years in plant or operations leadership, proven success leading cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment, experience with P&L ownership or strong financial accountability, background in plastics, automotive, or similar industries preferred
Leadership Profile: Hands-on leader, builder of teams and culture, change agent, visible, accessible, and engaged, comfortable making decisions and holding teams accountable
Capabilities: Strong operational and financial acumen, experience driving continuous improvement / Lean initiatives, proven ability to build trust across a diverse workforce
Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience), Lean / Six Sigma experience preferred
