About the role
The General Manager at Papa John’s is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the restaurant including operations, customer service, and team leadership.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth service and quality product delivery
- Lead and motivate a team to achieve sales targets and maintain high standards of customer service
- Manage inventory, ordering, and waste reduction to optimize efficiency and profitability
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance the customer experience and increase brand loyalty
- Collaborate with other departments to align goals and support the broader organizational objectives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proven track record of managing a team and achieving business goals
- Experience in the foodservice industry, preferably in a management position
- Strong leadership skills and ability to inspire and motivate teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a managerial capacity
- Experience with point-of-sale systems and restaurant management software
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
