General Manager

About the role

Mo’ Bettahs is seeking a dynamic individual to lead the execution of our brand daily. The successful candidate will manage multiple positions, ensuring the cleanliness of the restaurant, driving Same Store Sales growth, and maintaining high standards of food quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of the brand daily
• Competent in all FOH & BOH positions
• Responsible for the cleanliness of the restaurant, FOH & BOH
• Responsible for Same Store Sales growth
• Responsible for line speed to be measured using transaction times
• Serve as primary point of contact for all customer service matters and responsible for overall customer reviews
• Handle the execution of quality food following proper procedures and Mo’ Bettahs standards
• Cook up to 40 team members in business or food management
• Coordinate and lead weekly meetings with Manager in Training, Off-Premise Coordinator, and Certified Trainer
• Review weekly employee schedules
• Complete weekly reports, self-reporting, people PAR staffing guide, complete online ordering, inventory, etc.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Two or more years managing up to 40 team members in business or food management
• Proven track record of successfully promoting team members
• Experience in identifying and developing talent within a team
• Able to make difficult personnel decisions
• Perform other duties as assigned

Benefits

Compensation includes a base salary ranging from $55k to $70k, monthly bonus potential of $1,000, annual bonus potential of $13,000, free team member meals and drinks while you work, and discounts for you and family/friends when not working. Additional benefits include health, vision, dental, and life insurance.

Working Conditions

The position requires qualified individuals to see, hear, and speak (verbally and audibly). They must also be able to ascend and descend stairs, sit and stand for extended periods of time, lift up to 50 pounds, bend, stoop, and kneel. They may be required to work outside in various weather conditions, on a computer for extended periods of time, and drive or travel by car, air, or other transportation for business purposes. Must be able to function effectively in a fast-paced working environment and report to work responsive, free from sedatives, and in a non-sedative state. Must disclose prescribed and/or over-the-counter pharmaceuticals that may impair or affect the ability to perform the essential functions of the job. Natural and regular stressors occur on the job.
