General Manager

About the role

We're looking for a General Manager to oversee daily operations of the entire restaurant, ensuring smooth function and optimal customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will manage staff, schedule shifts, handle inventory, budget, maintain high standards of food quality, service, and cleanliness, handle customer complaints, and implement marketing strategies to attract more patrons.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for food ordering and scheduling
• Inventory management
• Delegating duties to others effectively and respectfully
• Overseeing product rotation and organization
• Working with the GM to communicate any instances of coaching to constantly evaluate and give feedback to staff
• Performing all other duties as assigned in accordance with the General Manager

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age or older
• Have a passion for food
• Be able to work late nights
• Have reliable transportation
• Can speak loudly and clearly in a bustling restaurant atmosphere
• Have problem-solving abilities, be self-motivated, and organized
• Have experience in a restaurant leadership role for at least 2 years
• Engage in friendly conversation with guests in line
• Develop knowledge of all ingredients and menu items
• Effectively handle any guest complaints or issues
• Maintain a positive presence at all times while on the front line
