General Manager

Located just moments from Portobello Road, The Prince Bonaparte has built a reputation for exceptional food, quality drinks, and warm hospitality in one of London's most sought-after neighbourhoods. Combining an elegant gastropub atmosphere with a loyal local following, it's a venue that guests return to time and time again.

We're looking for an experienced General Manager who can build on that reputation, inspire a high-performing team, and continue delivering exceptional guest experiences. This is an opportunity for a leader who thrives in quality-led hospitality, enjoys developing people, and understands how to balance outstanding service with strong commercial performance.

Responsibilities

• Work with your business development manager and management team to grow pub sales.
• Lead by example in everything you do and bring our brand to life through your team in delivering amazing experiences for our customers.
• Recruit and develop your team to ensure they have the knowledge needed to delight our customers.
• Be a champion of brand standards and ensure customer and team safety at all times.
• Acquire a personal license if you do not already have one.

Requirements

• Very high standards and attention to detail in all aspects of the day-to-day running of a successful pub.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with a great ability to work with people.
• Business savvy with a keen eye for P&L control.
• Embrace individuality and care for others, your pub, and the environment.
• Previous success at General Manager level is desirable, from a hospitality, retail, or other fast-paced background.
• Keen to learn and motivated by new challenges.
• Sufficient spoken and written English to perform the role safely and understand allergen controls.
