General Manager
The General Manager is responsible for running a profitable restaurant and ensuring it meets McDonald’s critical customer standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. This is a significant role that involves:
- Setting the restaurant’s goals and creating a plan to achieve them
- Leading a team of Department Managers who are responsible for specific areas within the restaurant
- Helping Department Managers set their own goals, monitoring their progress, and providing coaching and direction to improve their departments
- Making sure the restaurant has the right team to lead into the future by hiring and developing Department and Shift Managers
To be considered for this role, candidates should ideally have previous General Manager experience running high-volume locations, or relevant experience in hospitality or retail. Applicants must be 18 years or older.
